WDTV Live Hub firmware v. 3.00.28 is incampatible with WDTV-Remote 2.4 and earlier.
Western Digital has been so kind to update their firmware, so it actually conforms to standards. This however, makes the WDTV-Remote app send multiple key presses.
The issue has been fixed in WDTV-Remote 2.5 which has been submitted to Apple for approval.

Being independant of Western Digital, I get the new firmware at exactly the same time as everybody else. This leaves me no change to fix compatibility issues before they actually emerges.
I appolygize for any inconvinience this issue has caused, but hope for your understanding as well.
